Melanie Shelton is a Communications Specialist that focuses on marketing and brand strategy. Melanie believes that the heart and soul of a community lies within the wonderful work of nonprofit organizations. Her goal is to help promote their reach into the community by creating an effective plan that fits their budget, and with measurable results. Melanie approaches every challenge with enthusiasm, dedication, and an open mind for unique solutions.
After 15 years in the Sales & Marketing field, Melanie returned to WSU-Vancouver to complete her degree in Strategic Communications. Every summer, Melanie takes her daughter on hiking trips around the Pacific Northwest. She hopes to raise her daughter with an equal passion for the beautiful place she calls home.
