Our Team

Following a six-year career out of college as an award-winning sports columnist, Mike has logged over 30 years of experience in the development field with a distinct focus on major gifts and strategic fundraising campaigns. Over the years he has represented a diverse group of organizations and missions, including hospitals and healthcare agencies, universities, secondary schools, museums, zoos, aquariums, symphonies, theaters, social service agencies, humane societies, national youth associations, and police associations. Combined, Mike has represented projects that have generated in excess of $180,000,000 (and counting).

  • Patti Westby VP, Project Manager

    Patti received her CPA license in 1985 after completing her education at UCLA. She has practiced in both the private and public sectors for twenty years in California, Washington and Oregon. Patti spent several years developing new business and managing client relationships in the private sector as well as for accounting firms, including Deloitte Touché. She continues to gain expertise in tax codes and their implications to philanthropy.

    Lisa Capeloto is an event planning and funding development professional, specializing in the advancement of community-based charitable organizations. A Pacific Northwest native, Lisa has over a decade of experience as a volunteer and coordinator in the Southwest Washington community, assisting nonprofits that include PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center Foundation, Kearney Breast Care Center, Holtzman Twins Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Share Vancouver, Children’s Center, and CDM Caregiving Services.

  • Ingrid Dankmeyer Associate, Grants Management

    Ingrid has over a decade of experience in nonprofit management and fundraising. She helped found Portland-based Sustainable Northwest, a regional leader that helps rural communities build collaborations that create living wage jobs and restore ecosystems. She spearheaded the creation of Sprouting Seeds, a cooperative K-5 school in Battle Ground that serves homeschooled and public school students. She is the author of the book “Renewing the Countryside: Washington” that features profiles of sustainable farming and salmon restoration efforts in the state. Most recently she served as Assistant Director of Food Alliance, a non-profit certifier of sustainable agriculture.

    Kelsey joined Westby Associates, Inc. as our Special Project Coordinator in 2013 with a gentle and willing spirit. Kelsey is the voice behind our coordination and preparation for each interview, meeting, and workshop. She provides special event support while maintaining current social media aspects. With Kelsey’s experience in health education and nurturing childcare, she represents the most pleasant approach when managing client relationships.
